Those are sweet what did you wind up using Instead? Do you think that there would be much of a difference from the 105s?

I went to dura-ace. As far as better than 105, as the seller I'd rather you look into it and decide for yourself. They look cool though :D. I like the dark grey.

    Edit - SPF.

I definitely do!!! Just let me know how much and when I need to pay. I’d like to have a set for driver and passenger side if possible.

I was looking at my 2011 Madone and it unfortunately has tektro brakes on it. I have a 105 group set besides the brakes. Strange thing is the tektros look just like the shimano 105 and ultegra. I'm definitely interested , PM me with what your looking to get for them. Thanks

Performance wise, not much if anything. 105 is in line with the SLX/XT level gear in terms of mountain biking--not the lightest or flashiest but pretty much bulletproof and gets the job done at an easier to swallow price point.

SPF = Sold Pending Funds. Someone local has claimed them and should be picking up this coming week. If that changes I will let you know asap.

Completely agree, except that upon closer inspection he discovered his bike has Tektros, not 105. Tektros are pretty crappy.

The time has come to part with my all time favorite hard tail. This thing is a riot on the trails, and always puts a smile on my face.

    Build as follows:

Canfield Brothers Nimble 9 - medium frame
    Cane creek headset
    130mm Rockshox pike
    Renthal bars
    Renthal Apex Stem
    XT rear Brake
    SLX front brake (new pads)
    Raceface atlas cranks
    Raceface NW chainring 32t
    Spank spike pedals
    KMC X11 hollow pin chain
    Wolf tooth 20t cog
    Stans Arch wheelset
Maxxis Minion DHF front tire (tubeless)
    Specialized Slaughter rear tire (tubeless)
    KS lev 150mm drop post

I will add more detailed photos later today.

I would prefer local pickup (Lebanon Pa) but will ship at buyers expense.

    I am asking $1200 OBO

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

Unless I'm a dumbass (which is very possible), I don't see a price posted.

    Sweet hardtail by the way...

Those bikes are awesome. One of the regulars at the LBS has one. Total wheelie machine... unbelievably short chainstays, long/low top tube. Instant accelleration, very fun and, indeed, nimble. The direct line between head tube and rear axle gives it truly telepathic feel on the trail. If I were not a decrepit arthritic heap of soft tissue damage, I'd be all about it.

Yes, As long as you don’t have any type of tonneau cover. I have a roll up cover and my rocky mount drive shaft clears my fork lowers by about 1mm, still trying to figure out a way to move them out so my fork lowers don’t get bashed on the roll up cover bracing.

I have my 2017 intense spider frame for sale. I purchased in January of this year. Two shocks, a cane creek 40 headset and an angleset come with it. I'm negotiable with price and the parts that are included. Buyer pays shipping https://m.pinkbike.com/buysell/2368954/
