No Tacoma comes with LED unless you are talking about the daytime running lights LED. The new projectors are halogen

You state that we are all paying way too much for a midsized truck....yet you purchase a new one every 2 years? A handful of folks on here are purchasing right around invoice..which is decent. Reality check...Most dealerships aren't willing to move much off invoice....maybe an extra grand if you waited till they're sitting on the lots...especially for the tacomas. Merely waiting till the spring will not yield much better than invoice for most of us....maybe an extra 500 to 1000 extra discount, like I previously mentioned. Unfortunately 99.9 percent of us are not employed by Toyota, so the fact that you keep mentioning your employee discount means nothing to most of us. Good for you, but what good is that to us...

Now if you were intending on hooking someone up with that discount....different story....but let's be real...there are only so many factors we can control. We do our best with the cards we are dealt.

I called 12 dealerships this past week. I am down to 2 today. I currently have an offer at invoice with one and waiting on a call from another.
    $34,800. Total price...not including ttl.
Dcsb Trd off road 4x4 v6
    Prem. Tech. W/o jbl
    Tow
    Floor mats

I have 2 of the more aggressive dealerships against eachother....obviously lowest offer wins.

Am I getting ripped off? If so....exactly how much better do you think I will do.....sayyy...next spring?

Is that a DCLB or DCSB? I really wanted a DCLB TRD Off Road with tow package only. I think anything sub $35k would be good.

I think you've got the best price I've seen in that configuration! Now I know what to shoot for: $35,400 with JBL.

Son, let me explain something to you about dealer's invoices... Only a small number of people at the dealer know what the dealership has paid for each truck, the 'walk-in' public will never know the true and actual invoice cost of a vehicle..... that includes you, employee or not.

How do you like those apples?

I saw one quote that was a extra cab for 36000$ I'm not bragging by no means. I think Toyota is ripping people off so are other companies. I understand that people want all the tech stuff. Like I said earlier I just want a base Trd Sport 4x4dcsb with tow and all weather mats and door sills msrp with the 900 des fee is 33850$. It's 31000$ base Trd sport 900des fee 650 tow and 180 mats door sill The tech stuff is way over priced but they sell. I never buy I lease because of updates. But if they keep getting higher I want even be able to afford them. I said I think Toyota is ripping people off in fact they as others to. Its cost about 8500/9000$ to build a nice loaded Camry and they charge 24/25000$ for it. That's paying us and our benefits to iv been there 16 years you find out a lot of stuff. For that long of a time. It's just a shame they do that but it is what it is it pays my bills. I will check Tuesday when we go back how much mine will cost after discount and let you guys know. But not planning on getting one till May of next year

We get the invoice from human resource so we do. We tell them the model and what we want and it's in black and white take it to any dealer and they have to take It or Toyota fines them and could lose there license to sell Toyota products.

Maybe 500$ is my guess. We build the Lexus there to it's the same engine that's in the Tacoma. I just want to wait till it proves it self to work good on a truck format that's all

That's three people on this site that know an invoice given to a customer is BS.

What's the invoice price for your model? If HR is giving you an invoice, it's base invoice. If you go to a high volume dealer, they are still making money on you at that price

Not really. I still favor GM, but there are a few things about the Colorado/Canyon I can't live with.
