Dude, a business has got to make money. You may think they're ripping people off, but when you factor in the labor costs, vehicle development costs, company taxes, they're not making as much money per car as you think. And like you said, it's paying your bills. As long as I'm getting one under invoice (which, after all, isn't even the true invoice), I'd be happy with my regular non-Toyota-employee deal.

 

Alright guys. The best offers/deals seem to be right around the so called dealer's invoice.

 

I will get it for about 29500 with discount. That's a base Trd Sport 4x4 dcsb 32100 base 650 tow and 180 for mats and sills plus 900 des charge that's 33830$

 

What do you guys think of these figures? Seems in the park to me. Costco should allow buyers to pay only a few hundred above invoice. The expensive add on is the premium & technology package. Without it, I'm looking at picking up the '16 TRD Sport 4X4 DC for about $33K.

I noticed the "TDA" listed adding $726 to the price, as well as $11.03 for gasoline?? Anyone know what the TDA fee is and why they'd charge for gasoline?

 

Exact truck I'm going to get but with tow and door sills and mud guards. Yes that's seems fair where they get so high is the tech stuff.

Short bed.. Personal preference. I know they charge a little more for the long bed.

 

Dealers would love to sell every car at "invoice" There is bonus money holdback and other fees manufacturers pay advertising, etc. MSRP is a major home run for them..Especially for sales who get paid a percentage of Gross profit

You guys thinks a magnetic grey metallic DCLB TRD Off Road 4x4 + tow package (no tech package or anything else) can be obtained for sub $35k?

 

I would love a Tundra, but it won't fit in my garage. This is why I am buying a Tacoma. Plus, I am sure my wife would kill someone in a Tundra, and she makes way too much money to let her go to jail.

If you got it for invoice i see it coming in at approx 36k for tax (7% guess), title, license, and fees. That's for the Auto tranny. You could likely get it for under $35 with the manual tranny.

 

No manual offered with the DCLB unfortunately.

That's at 7% tax. IDK what your tax rate is.

 

I figured on 36K for a DCLB O/R with just the tow package.
