Until they pull their heads from their asses and build the RC again, I don't care. I would have gladly paid $30K for a fully loaded 4x4 V6 RC, but that was never available...
My 2011 Tacoma Vs. my 1994 GMC C3500 1 ton...

    It's a good throwback color. A lot like my Dad's 78 FJ

Mine came in at 7% below MSRP with Doc fees Plus $300 tax and $55 Title. That is about $500 above invoice with Doc Fees. I could have purchased the same truck for $500 less 100 miles away but I want my dealer to have the sale, good will and service

I hated it at first. It has grown on me a lot. Almost to the point of me picking it over MGM. I just needed to see it person first, like you. I am not a fan of the black over fenders but I think it looks really good with the quicksand. I don't like the sport in quicksand. The black fenders help break up the color.

7-8% Invoice is possible. Below invoice will be far a few between deals when including doc fees. Take 7% off MSRP and make that offer plus tax and title...You won't be going down much from there. So maybe you will want to start at 10% off and work up to 7% off.

Many dealers in high pop areas probably won't budge off MSRP for awhile. There are those who will gladly pay MSRP for this truck. I saw the same thing happen in the Mazda miata forums with the ND. People happily paying MSRP. I refused to pay that for a Mazda. So I dropped my plans to buy the ND and instead sold my 2015 Taco and ordered a 16...Saved $6000 in the process and getting a lot more truck than my 15 for the money

But isn't' invoice what the dealer pays Toyota to get a Tacoma? How do you sell a car at invoice and make a profit? Dealers are after a profit like everyone else. Sorry, never bought a new car. Plan to soon though.

That's a lot of money for that. I don't see a discount at all. If you got my deal you would be paying $33218.50 Tax included. I subtracted 7% from MSRP+Doc Fee = Price of truck. Then added Florida tax.

THE DOC FEE SHOULD BE ADDED TO MSRP..It is part of the Gross cost.

NO doubt. They could sell every vehicle at invoice and make a fortune if they wanted a No Haggle format. But too many people get confused by the numbers, buy "payments" or just pay MSRP plus "doc fees" so they won't go to no haggle.

Too many paying MSRP+Doc Fees Those are home run deals... They would not get if they sold all vehicles at no haggle invoice.

There is a lot of many made on the "back end" In 1994 there was a 15% margin between invoice and MSRP...Today thats whittled to around 7%.....The other 8% is still there in the form of bonuses , Hold back, and various other manufacturer to dealer incentives. Sell at Invoice and they are making money. The GROSS profit the sales guy gets paid on is weak though. They get a skinny. Maybe $100-$200 and a sale towards their bonus,

Sales people have really taken it in the asss with the way deals are structured now unless they get invoice Plus plus..
