    I am new here also. Hope you get this. I got the 4x2 long bed sport with same equipment for $32,802 +tax. The long bed is MSRP 500 more. This was from a Tennessee dealer

    Well my AC TRD OR i was waiting for came in yesterday did not take delivery after seeing it But price would have been 34,000 +TTL or about $10 over invoice For a Super white AC TRD OR with tech,tow,exhaust tip and mud flaps.
    Great price but the wife and i looked the taco over kicked the tires and ended up ordering a '16 T4R Trail at invoice..Now we will have 2 5th gen 4Runners :thumbsup:

    You're right there is no sales tax between a private sale but you'll have to pay the full sales tax on the new vehicle (instead of just the trade difference) which sometimes makes a private sale useless. In my case I'd have to get at least $2,200 more for a private sale just to break even on the new deal. I know in the w valley sales tax here can range between 8-9% depending on the city. Certain things are cheap here but they kill you on newer vehicle tax/tags. I still have dual residency so that helps for now. ;)

    Employed by dealership or TMMA? I get the TMMA pricing through my FIL who is retired from Georgetown plant. I was under the impression that additional cash off was on certain models.

    Just ordered a silver sky metallic 2016 TRD Sport 4Dr Auto 4x4 with JBL premium and tech, tow package, exhaust tip, all-weather mats and sill, and mudguards for 36100. Sales tax not included. $75 doc fee.

    Pretty pleased with the price.

    My current ride that will be looking for a new home. eba2a72aeb4a8f353b96412555bfcf86_8365b87459412e8d817426c809b20dd1ae1c58d0.jpg

    Hell I want to buy that. I think that design would look good on the bigger Tacomas.

    I had the same issue with dealers not wanting to budge off MSRP, especially since most dont have any on their lots right now. I was able to get mine in writing for $35,816 including freight. Only thing it doesn't include is the processing fee by the dealer and Tax/Tags/Title. Trading mine so I should get about 28k and the tax credit for that, transferring my tags over from my current truck. This was for a DCLB TRD Sport MGM 4x4 V6 with Premium & Tech package (non JBL) and towing package. Not wasting time with mud flaps or floor mats, Ill buy weather tech ones once they're released. I believe it was a little less than $500 over invoice, about $2,400 off MSRP. All this before the $1,000 military rebate that Toyota offers, which will put me under invoice.

    My first conversation with the dealer I am working with was 1400 off MSRP. I fully expect to knock 2k or more off.

    I contacted 11 dealers before choosing the best deal and giving deposit. Except for my local dealer, all were contacted via their website and mostly negotiated via email/phone. Here were my responses;

    1 - Never contacted me
    2 - No allocation for what I wanted, wouldn't talk price
    1 - Wouldn't budge off MSRP
    1 - $400 under MSRP
    2 - $500 under MSRP
    1 - $1,000 under MSRP
    1 - $1,300 under MSRP
    1 - $1,000 over Invoice
    1 - Invoice

    Obviously took the invoice deal, here are the specifics;

    TRD Sport 4x4 DCSB
    Premium & Tech
    Tonneau
    Tow Package
    Floor Mats & Sills
    Exhaust Tip
    Mudguards

    MSRP: 39,434
    Sale Price: 37,111 (Invoice)
    State Tax: 757
    TTL Fee: 238
    OTD: 38,106

    I was impressed that most were willing to discount since I'm from PA and the 16 Tacoma is still highly mysterious. Hell, the salesman I worked with isn't even attending the conference to learn about the new model until 10/13. I feel good about the price, my trade, and the dealership... that means alot!

    Dealer have us a decent amount for our crv. They had one other dc on the lot. And they are one of the largest dealers in dfw. I'm not gonna stress over it. We're picking it up at 5pm. Can't wait. I've always had toys, my wife hasn't. Now she has one. Her Tacoma is close to the same color as my G8. I'm rubbing off on her slowly but surely!
