    Shit I was just looking at the Toyota specials and realized I'm eligible for the college graduate rebate. I wonder if the dealer will still honor that even though we already came to terms on price

    Dealer sent me this with his invoice price circled and said he would sell it to me for $500 over plus $299 doc fee. I haven't decided if I wanna pull the trigger just yet.

    Seems about right. I got the exact same thing as you, minus the $210 floor mats. Group buy going on right now for WeatherTech. I paid $33,875 OTD. According to Truecar.com its a steal

    I picked up an SR5 DC SB with appearance package and tow package for $32K in Syracuse, New York two weeks ago. $1500 under MSRP. They gave me edmunds.com trade in value for my ten year old Grand Cherokee too. I was pretty suprised since I was expecting to pay full price for the Tacoma.

    Regional ad fee. Some say its a dealers cost they must pass on; others say its negotiable.

    I had to pay a $200 Administrative fee. Kind of like that?

    No, that sounds more like dealer profit. Doc fees can also be dealers profit. Cali regulates Doc Fees to $80

    I offered $33,707 + TTL and they turned it down.

    This was their reply:

    Thank you for the offer but I would not be able to take that deal. These TRD Sport Tacoma's are hard to find I only have one right now and I normally only discount them $500 off of the MSRP.

    I will sell the truck for $34,000 including all dealer fees. Then you will be responsible for your sales taxes.

    $33,701 sale price

    $ 299 admin fee

    $34,000 Total cost before sales taxes.

    I can secure this vehicle with a $500 deposit and we can plan a time for you to come in and pick up your new Tacoma.

    Thats up to you. Personally I would walk. Its not like time is going to make the deal any worse.

    I guess now you need to decide how badly you want it.
