maybe it will happen in 6 months from now. But no dealer I know of will let anything they have on the lot go for much less than msrp. if that is the msrp, 32000 is around invoice. there is about 2k difference between invoice and msrp across the board.

with bottom line inv $30890, that would be a hell of a deal....seems like dealers starting invoice+ price is actually invoice plus TDA and holdbacks.....They will say something like 500 over invoice of 32900=33400....be patient and check around

I think dealers around here are covering TDA with most of the holdback. Most places I have looked into aren't charging TDA if you pay close to MSRP. I have heard of places that give 'deals' are charging the 600+ TDA fee in LA Region

The numbers have to wash out somehow. The dealer is going to eat TDA then the numbers on your trade or off of MSRP will suffer

Dealer holdback is built into the invoice price the public sees and pays. TDA, DOC fees, delivery are all numbers over invoice. If you get a dealer to go to invoice, take out doc fees and TDA, and cut into their holdback on a 2016 tacoma, that would be something.

No idea but thats why I said "that would be something" because I think it would be damn near impossible. If you can find invoice pricing (including TDA, Docs and Delivery) you're doing better than most-- $500 over that would seem like a very reasonable deal too.

In my area, 500 over invoice means you are going to wait a long time to possibly get your truck. It sucks but that's the way it is
    1000 off isn't bad.

Autonation in Tempe, I tried Carsdirect, Costco, and made direct contact with a few fleet managers. I believe original contact with Autonation was thru a Carsdirect request so there should be a broker fee worked into that price.

Nice man did you try Chris at Riverview? I know they've really been dealing low numbers. Surprised if he didn't beat or match.

No, did not try Riverview. What I did was query Carsdirect/Costco, and also if a dealership website had an e-mail contact I emailed a request for quote and then the phone calls started from there. Looks like I may have missed the location of email contacts on Riverview's "meet the staff" web page.

Southern California dealer has the Limited 4X2 we want. They are asking $3000 OVER MSRP. Not funny. Asked for a quote on a lease, came back with $2000 drive-off, $575 per month. For a truck. Sadly, my wife insists on leather, so I'm stuck in the Limited... I'll see what they have to say at 9pm on December 31st when I make an offer.

This is the exact truck I ordered - exact options, same color, and I even ordered it on the same day (only in Merced, CA). Weird. My price is slightly lower (about $600 less after tax). But I don't have a build date. :(

Dude I'd tell them to jam that where the sun doesn't shine. Rent a car and drive over to AZ where you can get some great deals. Seriously what is it going to cost you to make a deal over the phone or email and then fly out here (cheap 1 way ticket) or make a 6 hour drive. There are a ton of dealers in the Phoenix area. Specifically I'd refer you to Chris Lopez at Riverview Toyota in Mesa who has hooked up more than a few Tacoma World members with great deals, some who have driven out from Texas!

This is one of the best deals I have seen since the pre-orders before the truck was available. You should feel good about that. That's about 1500 more than we will be paying OTD for the same 7568 but without FP

good deal, man. You won't find better than that

Joined TW after making the deal, and then started seeing posts of 7568's with December build dates and was hopeful that I'd get in by years end. Feel fortunate, Phoenix is a good market, hope you get a build date soon.
