Thanks, my young sons had fun climbing in and out of these new trucks on the lot, they are looking forward to it. Will feel great when we drive it home.

Most dealers will put leather on any vehicle as well as aftermarket shops - which many dealers
also use for putting in leather. I could of had it in my Sport if I wanted it.

I'm new here, but I have owned three Tacomas in the past. My current truck is a 2010 Tundra CrewMax. I want to go back to a Tacoma, and just started searching local dealers in my area online. I found what I want (just want it in Gray), is this price a good stating point? I'm waiting to see if these are Long Bed.....

No TDA fees in Southeast Region. Just Invoice plus delivery according to the PDF file posted and attached.
If Invoice is higher in SET then those fees are built in but I don't think Invoice is higher

I used the attached and added $935 delivery, my options, Plus $500 before Taxes and Tags

My deal sheet....No TDA Simple to understand. Although some of the NAs were added plus tint

As long as the supply exceeds the demand.

Prices will continue to stay near the MSRP.

We have 13 4x2 in stock, with 4 of them being 4cylinder trucks.

And we have 0 4x4 tacomas in stock and the allocation is 90% sold to customers with deposits on these trucks.

Anyone getting quoted prices that include the Toyota "VTR"? In Utah they are trying to charge 499.00.

Wow 13 4x2s! we found a 7568 with our specs near Palm Springs and we got it for 500 under msrp. They wouldn't move any farther from MSRP

The demand in NC, TX,OK may not be as high as SoCal hence plenty of discount and inventory.

Looking at what we have sold, and the days the trucks sit on the lot local tacoma buyers love these trucks.

Looking at my vehicle locator there are only 9 - 7568's within a 500 mile radius of Longo.

If that dealer is holding on to $500 under MSRP they sure have a reason why.

All of those 9 already have deposits now! haha. We took the 500 under deal because we would have to wait 6 months or so if we put a deposit on an order for 250 over invoice. The 1000 bucks wasn't worth it.

Dealers are under no obligation to give handouts. Holiday season is upcoming and money can be scarce for car dealers. Get while the getting is good. Not surprised and no hard feelings. As for the consumer, take your business where you feel it is most valued. It is a two way street.

Patience is a virtue, its a tacoma not a limited edition ferarri, there will be plenty more made and soon lots and inventory will be enough that the buyer will have the upper hand. The guys paying sticker to have it now will be kicking themselves down the road.

Every customer has a time frame, needs new truck due to work, car accident, current car troubles, etc...

I rationalize my purchase by forecasting the future discounts. How much do you expect dealerships to drop the price in the coming months, year?

Not much until they are sitting on lots, give it a year or two and then you can get easily $1.5-2k off, I did on my 15 in 2014. lol.

I don't see much savings there. I bought for 500 under msrp. Waiting a year to save 1000 to 1500 bucks isn't my cup of tea when my Sentra is starting to fall apart. It's near its end

So I just got off the phone with a different salesman at the same dealer I made an offer to the other day. Thats (3) different salesmen at the same dealership.

Salesman 1: Met in person, took a test drive, emailed him my build along with an offer. Never heard back from him.
Salesman 2: Found me as online lead, called me, gave him the same exact build with no offer. Never heard back from him.
Salesman 3: I called the dealer because no one was getting back to me. Told this guy what I want, his response..

Q: Do you want the TRD Off-Road or the TRD Pro?
    A: TRD Off-Road

Q: Just so you know all tacoma's are being marked up $5k
A: That's fine, can you find the truck I want first?

Lets see if he calls back... the hell i'm paying $5k more. I rather wait for the TRD Pro if thats the case.

has anyone else seen this kind of price gouging? I'm in SoCal, if anyone on here knows a better dealer or salesman please send me their info.

Wow what dealership is this? I'd say go to Larry H. Miller ask for Rudy. They are offering 1k over invoice.
