Going tomorrow 4-1 (No April fools joke here) to order a 2016 Tacoma ORLB Double cab 4X4 in Red with the tech package NO JBL audio. Also has the tow package. I snagged this deal through Costco auto program and got it for $35,685.00 Plus taxes, title and tags... I think I snagged a pretty good deal... what do you think people?

 

Ordered a '16 quicksand Access cab v-6 with a six speed, tow and tech packages for 2K under msrp. About 32,300 plus tax and doc fee.

Paid 41k for the truck OTD( SF Bay Area/ ~10% sales tax yikes)- Costco deal
Added the Toyota care 75k - was told they go up to 6 years if i don't reach 75k in 5( which I won't). $1450. Didn't want this as much, but he knocked $400 off his first price.
Also got 125k/8 year platinum Toyota Extended warranty - $1600 - Told them I had another dealer willing to do this price. I had seen this price on here. He was originally at 2450 for 8/100k lol!
Figure both of those are good peace of mind and only help resale even more!

I'm happy with my price since I called around and looked for months for a deal/truck I wanted. I also shouldn't have to worry about a single thing for 5 years minimum.

Clazzio seat covers came yesterday installing tonight. @BAMF sliders and grille were ordered earlier and should be ready in a month or two.

First Post! Delivery around May 5-10th for a TRD sport,4x2 ,double cab with tow package, tint, mudguards, stainless exhaust tip, P4 paint protection, Shark running boards, and bed light. Also got them to throw in the all weather mats instead of the carpet ones.

MSRP: $34,455.
Trade in : $500
Tax is 6.2%
OTD price: 33,800. (Includes TTL)

Did I do okay?

 

What should I be looking to pay around the Atlanta area for a TRD Sport 4x2 with non-jbl tech package?

 

$32,900 out the door taxes and fees included is what I was quoted for TRD OR 4X2.Augusta,ga..That was $2500 off MSRP.

 

Was this with non jbl tech package?

For those of you that have just bought or considering a purchase, this is the wrong thread to read. You will never post a price that someone won't have issues.

 

I have a quote for a 4x2 DCSB TRD OR, Premium/tech no jbl, tow package, d rings and bedmat for $31,729, plus TTL.

Just have to wait for Toyota to confirm the build and all that fun stuff.

That's $3,091 below MSRP of $34,820

For those of you that like seeing Invoice numbers:
That's $441 below invoice price of $32,170

 

When I bought my truck, I did not consider taxes and fees in the negotiation because you have to pay those anyway.

Make your best deal off FACTORY MSRP and be happy with your awesome truck. Otherwise, someone will surely tell you that you paid too much. Hell I had one dweeb tell me that I was getting screwed and he owned a 4-year old Tacoma!!

 

Bravo. MSRP and the window sticker is very clear cut. At least it is to me. If someone says they received $3000 of MSRP, how is that confusing?

 

Don't forget the clowns who factor in their trade-in values as well for their "quote" without noting it. They don't consider that every trade-in value is different for every person for every dealership.

 

I wouldn't call them clowns. Lots of people have trade-ins. Just try to separate each portion of the deal as much as possible. At the end of the day, you should feel good about your purchase and THIS is not the right place for that type of support.

That said, this forum is very valuable for learning and sharing information.
