Just curious to see which set up you guys prefer, I heard -10 offset is where its at. I will be running 265-70-17 with 2.5 inch front lift....still deciding on the offset ect

Does negative offset affect your wear, ride quality or alignment ?

Are there any issues that come with - offset, any positive factors?

17x9 0 offset. Front has a slight poke (pic angle exaggerates it) and looks perfect IMO. Pulled the trashed rear flares, so the rear looks like it pokes way more. Wheel width plays into offset too, looking for 8.5s at 0 offset now, which will pull them in about 1/4" and sit flush once I get new rear flares.

Not really. I have some tube steps , they seem to block the rocks pretty well. With out the mud flaps water puddles etc definitely get it dirty quicker. But that’s not a biggie I tend to wash my truck weekly. So it never really dirty.

An aggressive cab mount chop and a decent amount of hammering the firewall.

It’s all in the alignment on these trucks though.

If you run a non castor correcting UCA and run whatever highest amount of castor you can get out of that you push the wheel forward a lot more.

I dont really recommend this offset unless your running at least a 295 or you just like a lot of tire poke

285’s on 0 offset rubbed my UCA at full lock just a little bit so -12 probably would have been enough for those tires

Old pic but one I purposely took because it's hard to tell how far they poke from the fenders. SCS 17x8.5 -10 with 265/70/17. Basically the edge of the tread is perfectly even with the flares and sidewalls poke out a bit. Pretty much level with the kick-out on the sliders.

    eZwsGeK.jpg

Just keep in mind the view from the front will be exaggerated due to bumper cover shape. Misleading but more flattering angle for sure, definitely hotter but kind of like how Tinder profile pics aren't accurate.
