I know that this thread hasn't been used in awhile, but does anyone have experience with this two-bar setup and a roof top tent? Wondering if I should get the two-bar or the three-bar

I ran the two bar for a long time. No issues holding up the tent. I would get the 3 bar if its in your budget just to disperse the weight better.

@Mademan925 in this picture, is your rear bed bar as far back as the accessory rail will let you go?

Anyone have some photos of the 4 or 8" bars with their roof top tents on? Trying to figure out which size to get. Thanks!

I'd go directly to their website which has a picture of what looks like the 8" with an RTT mounted on top. I've talked to many of the folks here and two will do just fine with an smaller RTTs (Tepui Kukemon Sky 3, Smittybilt, FreeSpirit Original and CVT's Mt. Bachelor. I ordered a pair of 8" Crossbards from RF and waiting on it now and my Tepui Kukemon Sky 3 is coming today. So once all that is up on my truck, I'll photos. But if you are thinking about bigger 4+ person tents and the Ruggedized RTT's from Tepui, then 3 would be best.

Guess what came in the mail the other day?!?! Finally got a day free to clean, sand, paint and install these crossbars.

Top notch quality material and SUPER easy install. Looks great on the truck too! Going to put the RTT on next weekend for my trip to Vegas!

Anyone know if bars from a 2nd gen would fit my 3rd gen? Someone locally is selling a pair off his '14.

Depends on how old the bars are, about 6 months ago we retrofitted our design to incorporate both hole patterns in the mount brackets. If the mount brackets have 4 holes each they'll work, if theres only 2 holes in each mount they will not.

Thanks for the info. Assuming they're old style, could I theoretically drill my own hole on the mount bracket??

Unfortunately no. The rail caps are taller on the 16+ therefore the rail track that the hardware mounts to is at the bottom edge of the old mount plate. Not enough meat on the plate.
