Post your truck bed tie downs!

I can't stand I only have two tie-down locations in the rear and then I have the cheap easy to bend removable/movable tie-down locations on the rails.

I've seen past threads where there is a factory Chrysler tie-down part that the bed bolts go through, I'd love to add those but I can't remember the part number.

I think I remember those. Did you have to drill the hole bigger?

 

No, just pressed off the washer off the bed bolt and install.

The only thing i strap down is the front of my kayaks. If I ever start hauling heavy shit, I'll pull the bed bolt and use different rings.

 

Dodge D rings for heavy stuff. L track all around the perimeter for lighter stuff. This pic is before I put in the Dodge D rings.

Here's the post that shows the Dodge D rings. They're really stout and they clamp down tight so they don't rattle.

Just got these in the mail over the weekend. The Toyota OEM ones are a bit pricey but they match the existing ones.

Yessir. Just had to remove the factory washer on the bed bolt.

 

Received my milsurp ones today. I thought they’d be black but they’re olive drab. They look cool, I am not going to bother painting them. Hopefully I’ll have time to install this weekend.

I have not started this project yet but are there any tips to removing the washer from the bed bolt? I don’t have a shop press.

 

Might try a code grip and big hammer.

Not really sure, the press made it a very quick job.

 

Thanks for the suggestion. These will replaced the crappy rust infiltrated eBay ones I bought a few months ago.
