    in all reality even with a snorkel, there are so many other things that can be damaged from high water over headlights. ive done it once. truck ran great cuz the snorkel but i washed out both my ac compressor bearings and idler bearings... so i wont be doing that again. but if i am forced to drive through some deep ass water, i will do it. plus i have a first gen, my door seals actually seal LOL

    Fans no like getting hit by rushing water.

    Can cause them to wobble and take a chunk out of your radiator leaving you on the side of the trail FUBAR leaking toxins into the surrounding nature.

    I would recommend putting a cold weather winter grill bra on if you know you have to cross extremely deep shit
