Potential Hilux Front End Conversion Parts

I found these while going down the rabbit hole of Led MK4 Hilux led tail lights as I don’t like the price of that one Oksiwa set for the Tacoma.

 

Never heard of a HILUX front end swap, but I'm curious about the tail lights as well. Do you know if they're a direct fit for the Tacoma?

 

According to the screw holes that mount them, yes the tail lights fit

Any idea if the bulbs/sockets are plug and play too?

 

They have the same plug for the trucks harness
Some have the 5 wire and some have the 6 wire like the tacomas 95-00 and 01-04 wiring.
Even if they didn’t have the same harness we could just use butt splices to take the connector off our stock tail lights and splice it onto the Hilux tail lights.

 

Although if you want just buy the set you like most and if it don’t work post a t here and then you just return the tail lights.

Here’s a set of red led ones for only $150 from depo.

 

I would buy a set but I accidentally saw in my mothers eBay history while helping her return an item that she bought me some led tail lights for Christmas already.

 

Okay after some further digging on the hilux tail lights the bottom screw hole opposite of the side touching the tailgate is in a different spot so you would either have to make a bracket to attach to the original screw hole on the bed that has a screw hole in it for the hilux tail light or just run with 3 out of 4 screws holding it in.
