    Hey,

I am looking at putting on the following lift.
    http://www.suspensionconnection.com/kt09102bk-tacoma.html

I need some advice. I have a factory stock 04 dbl cab with 87k on her. I do some light off roading, down some trails to get to hunting areas. My questions are as follows...
    1. Will factory suspension be sufficient for this lift, or should I upgrade to glistens?
2.do I need to do a diff drop?

    Thanks

Just out of curiosity on your way to your hunting areas have you came across something you couldn't pass?

To answer your first and second question you will probably not need billys but you might need a diff drop. It's hard to say really.. Personally if I were to get that kit I would wait to get the diff drop. You need to look at your cv axles and see if the rubber boot is rubbing against itself and if it is then you should get the drop.

Not trying to be a negative nancy or anything but personally I wouldn't get a kit like that because it's just spacers. Let me know if you want some suggestions for decently priced suspension lifts. They are a bit more expensive but well worth it in the end.

Yes, I'm definitely interested in other options.

Ok good. This is what I would have gone with if I could go back in time lol.. I have seen a lot of happy ppl with the above kit.

I would suggest saving for the above kit but if it's just too much $ there are a few other kits.

Or this one is closer to the first kit but with a few less options

Basically I'm trying to steer you clear of spacer lifts. What you can do to make some of these kits cheaper is take some options out. I would rather have bits and pieces of a good lift instead of a full spacer lift.

no problem. any more questions don't hesitate to ask.

Not sure about your knowledge of tacomas/suspension but IMO fully understanding what you get before you get it is key.
