Hey, just signed up on the forum but I don't actually have a Tacoma. I just basically signed up so I could keep on top of new threads when they get going on the 2016 Tacoma. I am looking at buying either a 2016 Tacoma (either Limited or TRD Sport Double Cab 4x4) or a 2016 Chevrolet Colorado Z71 with the 4 cyl duramax diesel. I am hoping to find some good reviews for the Tacoma when people actually start getting behind the wheel of them so I can get some more info and try to figure out which way I am going to go with the new truck.

I will say I was set on the Chevy but the more I look at the 2016 Tacoma and the options (my dealer gave me a copy of the order guide last week) the more I am leaning towards the Tacoma and the high resale value.

My 2 cents ... definitely do not buy the first gen of the Colorado diesel. But that's just me ...

Well it's either a first run 2016 Tacoma or a first run Chevy diesel. I believe it is the same diesel they have been using elsewhere for a few years now with some fine tuning. GM's fine tuning always worries me, I've worked at a few dealerships and have seen a lot of fine tuning issues in the first model years.
