I have been wanting to upgrade my headlights for quite some time but I have always been afraid that I would mess something up in the process of taking it apart and modifying the headlights. I found these when I was on Instagram and I was sold, preassembled blacked out headlights with projectors and LED accents. Really unique look and the best part is that I wouldn’t have to do any modifications myself besides installing them. Luckily they are not too pricey, I was expecting to spend close to a grand when I was initially shopping for retros and that’s what turned me away from them.

When I checked out there site I found that they were local and we got to chatting about potentially having them help me with the install if I pulled the trigger. They said they could help me out (grateful considering I have no idea how to remove them and didn’t want to mess with the electrical work ) and we got to it. I didn’t do the install, I let the pros work on it, but it seemed fairly straight forward.

I'm really pumped about them, I have never had projectors on any of my vehicles but was blown away by the output of the lights and the sharp cutoff. All in all I’m really happy with them and it really fits the theme of my truck a lot better with the blacked out headlights (now I just need to get rid of all the chrome!)

Erick is the guy who helped me out, cool dude, owns a sweet FJ. I told him a little about the forums and he said that they potentially could do a group buy if enough people were interested. some one on here did it with a write up. costed like 2 grand but im pretty sure if I wanted to I could just retrofit a 2012 grille and the headlights would fit

Yea I know its not bad at all price wise and The change is night and day with projectors. I'll have to check on my lunch but I'll let you know!
