So I finally took my All-Pro rear bumper (group buy) to a local powdercoater. The guy had an entire book full of different shades of black powdercoating! I simply opted for matte black. Any thoughts on how this will appear on a Black Sand Pearl Tacoma? Other shades/variations that you prefer? I know it seems like a simple thing but I want to get it just right (and I'm having some second thoughts).

Additionally I plan to obtain a front bumper from Schrockworks. I am probably best off having that shipped bare metal and having the local guy powder coat it as well to insure they are an approximate match, right? Thanks for any opinions.

Did you get the bumper powder coated. I want to do the same thing when I get my truck.

I would definitely select a black that stands out from the body color. You do not want to try to match or else it will look off.
