Powder Coat or Paint

For the armor should I powder coat or paint? Powder coat obviously more durable. But paint I can't touch up anytime easily.

 

What about derping?

 

Want to keep it nice? Paint.
Want to show scars? Coat.

 

Spray paint ftw! Easy to touch up and cheap

You're going to get differing opinions here OP.
every offload shop up here in AK recommends powder coat done correctly over paint. If you get it thick enough it's actually very strong. I understand the argument fully of it chipping off and such, but it hasn't dissuaded me from opting for that. Now if only I could find the money to do it haha. My armor will be here in a few weeks, and I've got a hunting trip planned soon after that so I opted to coat the bumpers in POR15 and see how that holds up. It's a rust prevention paint essentially. If I like it I'll leave it, but ultimately I'd like to powdercoat everything.

If its bumpers, I say PC. If its sliders and skids, I say paint.
Unless you really plan on beating your bumpers up, then the easier and cheaper to fix the better.

 

Still undecided. If I spray paint it black, am I able to touch it up easily with just a blast ?

 

What about bed liner?? I painted my bumper at first and that lasted about a week when I decided to bed liner it instead and I love it! Just sprayed it right on. It was super easy
