If anyone has a pristine OEM 2005-10 they pulled off and don't want PM me with price including shipping :) (the cheaper the better). I think you might use a shipping tube?

Find someone who just bought one of mine, and they can ship you their crappy plastic cap in the box that mine came in :bananadance:

FYI: the year range is 2005 - 2015

Bump for this and just ordered off your website. Thanks!!!! Been looking for a solution to my broken cap and hopefully it will help with the "bowing" of my tailgate.

No biggie :):) ........ Perhaps this might give someone incentive to buy one of the "Powder Coated" ones.

 No offense intended to you ... the phrase just made me chuckle. It all depends on how one uses their truck as to whether the plastic cap is adequate.

That is a good way to describe it. The tailgate went from being extremely wimpy to "overcompensating on steroids". Worth the money, I love mine and looks like it will hold up to years and years of abuse.

Does anyone have a tailgate assist with the cap? Thinking about putting one on with the increase in weight of the tailgate. May make it easier to handle.
Wondered if it was worth it.
    Thanks.

Do a few more 12 oz curls, then you'll be ready, willing, and able to handle the extra weight :broccoli:

I have one from last year also, but so far mine has not flaked or bubbled yet. Is there any type of warranty provided if this is to occur?
