Since the gap is a non-issue, I'll say, yes, order one up!!

OK. So they still have the big gap between the cap and gate.

The pictures make the gap look way bigger than it is. I've sold hundreds of these, and so far nobody has said a single word about the gap.

your site makes me want to open up my wallet and I don't even get my next Tacoma until tomorrow.

But anyway...this cap thing. I'm looking at your site (http://www.kbvoodoo.com/about/ specifically), and I'm thinking "man...you know know what would make this cap killer? 2 slits on the top such that a toe strap could be run to cinch and hold that rear wheel in place."

you say the gasket material is 1/4" thick...how wide? Is there a gap on top where someone to cut a couple little slits? what about on the inside/ bed-side?

You just blew my mind. I'll make a "cyclist friendly" version, and you sir, get the first one in the house just for the idea.

The cyclist version will of course be supplied with straps. I mean, duh....

I'll second that the gap is a non-issue. Sometimes pictures do lie. It is not noticeable and once you see it on the truck you understand why it is the way it is. I had a sheet of 3/4 inch plywood that I had cut to fit the wheel wells that overlapped the tailgate and every time I carried my 750+ pound motorcycle (too long for the bed with the gate removed) or anything really heavy I had to use it. Now it sits in my garage for scrap, and my tailgate looks awesome.

It is a little high going to Cali, but you only live once, and it's worth it.

Alaska is worse, but Chad's shipping method was the cheapest alternative for me. FWIW :)

$29 for shipping and it's not here yet. It's been 12 days. I would think at $29, it would of been here in 3 days. You should check into FedEx for shipping, much cheaper then USPS. Get a business acct.

What was your order number? Something may be amiss. I normally have them in people's hands in a few days.

You never want to use USPS for large packages. USPS is only good for small packages up the 5lbs. After that, use the other guys... Cheaper and faster and free insurance.

Order placed on September 4th. Shipped on September 5th from NY to Arizona. USPS Standard Post Selected by customer.

Looks like you'll have it in a day or two.

Arizona seems to be one of the most expensive and time consuming deliveries from where I am. USPS does an outstanding job though, and their rates are as good or better than the other two, plus it's the most convenient option for me to get them on the road.

I just shipped 8 large 40lb+ boxes from upstate NY to AZ and I paid a total of $220(FedEx). I know your boxes don't weigh half that... They all arrived in 3 days... THREE DAYS...

There's also a Priority Mail option. That gets it there in 2-3 days.
