Power door locks??

    hi everyone it's me again and my ? Or issue today is that on my 2011 Tacoma s door locks are acting up . Here's my problems.

    It's a four door and one of the door in the rear is acting up it is NOT locking with the remote that came with the keys. The othe 3 doors will lock and open but that one will not? I have to open it and lock it manually. Any help or solitons Thanks.

    sounds like a door lock actuator. Does it not lock or unlock by pressing the electric lock button on the drivers door? Should be an easy enough fix.

    If it is that, some have been able to repair rather than replace by cleaning up the contacts area on the actuator motor, that's if the contacts are dirty and the mini motor didn't just die.

    Up2nogood thanks I will try that are the actuator located in the door?

    Yes the actuators are in the door. I'd search for a how to on removing them, I did one on my wife's Rav4 recently and although I probably would have managed without a tutorial it did make things go much faster and no guess work by using one.
