Power fold mirror mod

Inverted wires to motor...

 

I have 360° camera and puddle lights. Not sure if you can have all 3 (puddles, camera, and power folding mirrors). Space is quite limited.

 

Locate "puddles" under door-reduce 2 wires in the bundle.

 

'Fold' switch position unfolded the mirrors. Auto position kept mirrors folded, and unfolded them when ignition was switched off. I reversed leads to mirrors to correct this.You could do it where the mirror leads leaves the controller, but by then, I had wires zip tied to OEM wiring and it was easier to invert each set of mirror wires individually. I suspect someone got it wrong when writing the software, and didn't thoroughly test the system. Quality control issue.

 

No, the module used is meant for a right-hand steering vehicle which has same wires but in different order. But, Yes, a verification before assembling and selling got dropped.
