Hello there my names richard I'm new to this forum and to the tacoma world. Ten years of owning sports cars and v8+ I was given a 2010 tacoma 2.7 liter pre runner sr5 5 speed and I was wondering what's the best most reliable way to make power from this little engine? I feel if I could get more power from it that the drive's would bit a bit more enjoyable, also to what I'm use to. I had a crossfire srt-6 but crashed in the rain after hitting a dip on the freeway so here I am with the tacoma.

You've proven you can't handle more power. :p

    Welcome

Not much for the I4 to add power, kinda pointless unless you go turbo.

Consensus on TW would be to buy a different ride. Sorry but welcome to TW

Do not even mention a cold air intake. If you do there will be about 40 people tell you it doesn't make anything but noise.

Haha funny shit, but that was my first accident ever horrible but I lived my gto had more power. Yeah I have also done research and people seem to wait for someone to ask that to tear em a new one lol but my ideas were to add a header a exhaust system and tune see how that goes I don't want to really start any force inductions.

Yep the urd supercharger kit is really your only option. Youll spend tons of money on exhaust, tuning and intakes and whatever else and basically gain like 10 hp. With the urd supercharger kit youd be hanging with trd supercharged v6s

Aside from the supercharger mentioned, the 6.7L Cummins tow truck mod and the relaxabitanddrivelikegrandpa mod are your only other options that include the 4cyl tacoma. I'd suggest the latter to be honest.
