Bump because I am in the market for an inverter as well. What are you looking to do with it is the number 1 question?

Get a proper generator. Pulling that kind of wattage will kill a battery right quick.

I want to upgrade to 1000 watts, but I want it installed and running to the bed plugs. That way I can run an impact wrench or larger power tools in short bursts if needed. I already own a micro compressor (along with bigger ones) and tools no sense in getting on board air, or the super cheesy 12v compressors.
