    Hey everybody,

I’ve been putting this off for a while and have just manually been locking/unlocking the truck so I’m just now am trying to fix it. Anyways, the issue is that none of the 4 doors lock/unlock from my key fob or from the switches inside. The only noise I hear is a clicking from near the fuse box under the dash. I checked the fuses and I took the driver side actuator off and tested the wiring harness supplying power to the actuator. The meter jumped in voltage when I hit the lock/unlock buttons so I assume I’m getting power to the actuator (if I did that right). That’s as far as I’ve gotten. Is it safe to assume that all 4 door actuators just all went out gradually and need replacement? I read something about a “Body ECU” instead of a relay. Could that be it? I’m just trying to save $ on labor. Any advice helps. Thanks fellas.

So the DR LCK Fuse is good?

The Body ECU does control the door locks, the relays are built into it.

If your fuse is good then backprobe Pin 1 (Blue/Black) and Pin 4 (Blue/Red) at the drivers door lock actuator with something suitable (needle, paperclip, T-Pin, etc) and put a test light between them, it should light up when you hit the lock/unlock button. If it does the the actuator is bad, if it doesn't then you either have a wiring issue or a failed Body ECU.

Can individual relays within the body ecu go bad? Does it power other things other than the power locks?

Im sure they can, did you do the check at the door lock I described in the post above?

The Body ECU also controls the dome light, tail lights, & headlights but those relays are external.
