Power Outlet in cab no longer working

    Both fuses are good. Even swapped in some new ones temporarily just to make sure it wasn't something on the fuse that l couldn't easily see. If it is the relay (stuck open). Could l try and keep the contacts closed as described here. Or only try it on a new relay?

    If I were you, I would swap the power window relay in there as a test. It's right beside the power outlet relay. If that solves the problem, then you can decide if you want to solder the contacts on the bad relay.

    I swapped in the power window relay. Outlets now work. I'll just get a new relay rather than trust a burnt out one. Then do the mod.

    I’m having a similar problem in my 3rd gen. I installed a powered accessory rail, tapped into the power port wires for it, since then I blew the fuse, double checked my wires and they are correct. I replaced the fuse and it did it again but this time heard a pop in the unit.
    For now I just removed the fuse, but I think the powered unit is faulty. Any other ideas?
