    That's how most Sensors work. They pull to ground.

    I’m aware - I’m referring to how many level sensors operate on an open/closed switch, that just go to ground (oil pressure sensor) or close the circuit & ground in the computer (washer fluid)

    I was a certified electronics & electrical tech on Fords for years. Toyota may be a bit different, but probably not

    Furthermore, a lot of those circuits will have 12v when open, but once the circuit is live (closed) it won’t
