Power points questions

Any of these PowerPoint location stay active after the truck is turned off? Thinking about adding a solar trickle charger on it to keep battery topped off during the winter. At some point this winter I’ll be out of the country a couple of months and would like for battery to stay charged up while I’m gone.

 

Wouldn't it be best to just go straight to the source (battery) for this?

 

I checked mine a while back and unfortunately, there’s no power after the truck is shut off. It’s probably a fairly simple mod to tap into some constant 12v power somewhere and hook it up to the plug.
If i’m going away for more than a week, I always put a small trickle charger under the hood if i’m within reach of an outlet. If not, i’ve used those cheap, 3x12” solar chargers hooked directly to the battery before and they’ve worked great....
