    This gen 1 board is completely silent on the subject..
    Is the reason because gen 1 owners don't /can't do it?
    In gen 2 boards, There are tons of people doing it several different ways..
    EDIT :: *sliding window

    I can't think of anything holding you/us back besides lack of interest.
    If you find a way, maybe you can post a nice DIY some of us will follow.
    :thumbsup:

    The mod confuses me.... Idk if the problem is because of any differences between gen 1 and gen 2

    There are lots of differences, space for a mechanism is probably the main one.

    I keep forgetting I have a rear sliding window. Edit: Just looked at mine, there isn't a dip or area to hide the mechanism between the back seat & rear cab wall. The headrests are also very close to the window. So probably not being able to conceal the mechanism is why. Interior appearance outweighs usefulness, most likely.
