    I don't need an ignore list and I didn't call you a shit weasel, just recommended you don't act like one. I see you're ignoring my advice.

    And I stand by my statement, if the OP (or you) needs the adjustability of power seats so bad you should have chosen a truck that has power seats. Toyota makes trucks with power seats, they just don't come in the Tacoma right now and haven't since its introduction. It's no secret and should have been apparent when you first climbed in the truck.

    Driver comfort and ergonomics are one of the top priorities when selecting a vehicle, if I'm not comfortable in it from the bat it's not going home with me. It's one of the reasons I passed on the GM twins when shopping, I could not get comfortable in their power adjustable seats.

    Wife owns a 2015 Chevy Traverse with similar power seats, I hate them but she loves them so we bought it, I never drive it.

    If the new Ranger and Jeep truck have them you might see the Tacoma get them then you can trade your current truck in and be happy again.

    Until then quit-yer-bitchin about choosing something that you know had no feature and wishing it did.

    As for the OP's other requests, Toyota nor any of the other major manufacturers currently build piecemeal by features, it's select your package instead as it's more economical and judging by sales numbers, works.

    Are there any answers to these questions? Can I simply take my seats out, unhook the connecting harnesses, and after thi is done, use little jumper wires, that go from one pin to another pin, in such away that the computer thinks nothing has changed?

    Unless someone else has done it no one can answer your question. You can always try.

    I could try, but afraid by trying I could short something out, and trigger a response that might harm the computer or its sensors. Send a man to the moon, but if the damn space capsule does not have power seats from the factory it's just not going to get them.

    You're better off trying with a Toyota seat instead of a Ford seat.

    I agree totally. But I have never come across, a set to buy. These seats I got for 60 dollar a piece only one is powered. Figured if I could not get them to work. Could easily get my money back out of them. I am going to look at the seats after I get them out, side by side, and see if I can bolt or weld Taco seats to the Ford power under carriage. Only thing that might stop me is if this set up shifts seat to high.
    I will either get them to work or I won't , but I am going to give it the old high school try.

    Maybe it's a regional thing. I have friends/colleagues from Vancouver and one from Calgary and no one refers to cds or basically flat circular items as "disks", just disc. Then again I work in an IT department.

    @Hayseed

    I would not recommend doing what you’re wanting to do. There is too much left to chance on your new vehicle. If something doesn’t work and it causes something else to break or catch fire your warranty is out the window. You paid $60 for these seats and are trying to shade tree engineer it to work and also asking for help on a Tacoma forum.

    I guess I know now why no one has changed out their seats for power. Their are just not enough interest in it. It is a shame, i don't know about auto wiring, but would not have ever thought it to be so impossible to accomplish. Oh well. Any one want to buy some Ford Escape seats?

    The problem is trying to make the airbags work. I installed BMW e46 convertible seats in my 1969 Camaro and I was able to get the power adjustability working with just a power and ground wire. I'm not sure what will happen if you unplug your airbags. You can always test it out by unplugging the Yellow wire under the seat. That's the air bag power. I think the only other wires would be the seat belt warning wiring.
