So it's the rear slider and not the rear door, correct?

correct... If you look into the document that I have provided, there is a second page that details every piece I used to make my install. if you look at each part you will notice that it's the Honda Ridegeline Rear Back Sliding window motor regualator...... It even has The part number which you can google and it.

Just ordered, 148.40 out the door at Tracy Honda, it's funny how it's a dealer only item, and yet u can get all 4 door regulators at any auto store

Double cabs have the power window, access cabs do not.

Hey man no prob.. if you have any questions , concerns... just ask away and I will be glad to help out. If ever you are interested in these 2 anchor brackets a have a few spare sets that I would sell in case you do not want to bother making them.... they are pretty labor intensive

I will definitely keep that in mind, they tell me they'll have it in the morning so I'm gonna take it all in and then get r done. I've never even opened my rear window, but I will now

35$ US shipping included. I only have 2 pairs available. Once they are gone I don't think I will make anymore because they take too long to make.

I was ready to do your mod after I found out that others had paid close to $1,000 for OEM parts. I figured the extra cost for the used Toyota parts was worth it for the time saved and having it look stock.

1000 verses 200 is more than just an extra cost, its 800 bucks saved that could go somewhere else, but that's just me

True. That's why I was going with this mod until I found junkyard parts for $200 more than what this mod would cost. I figured the time saved was worth it. Plus I'll be able to sell my existing window to offset some of the extra $$$.

Nice, that sounds like a great deal, I'm going with the new OEM Honda ridgeline rout so I dont have to deal with used electronics, just a heads up, when u test it at the junk yard, make sure it's in the truck because if it's out, it may appear to work but maybe not so much under load, just sayin, good luck

Well I guess I did get lucky with that junkyard find. The yard I ordered the parts for my gen 3 is 1/2 hour away and now the nearest one listed is 650 miles away. Their cost is $350 for just the window, shipping not included.

The OP's PDF write up of this mod is excellent. I appreciate all the work it took that went into doing that and thank you for sharing it!

My regulator with motor from Tracy Honda was only $148.40

Nice job and nice write-up. I did a modified Ben-Wa install 5 years ago using some of your ideas, an Impala window regulator and bicycle cables. It is one of my most used mods.

Since I won’t be doing anything on this project for a few months at least I’m curious to see how your install goes. I’d like to get a look at the 3rd gen parts myself. Pretty sure it’s been said that the 3rd gen window is the same dimensions as my 2nd and would go right in.
