Power Sliding Rear Window

So these are on a few 2nd gens, however, is this something that our third gen guys would like? Please vote and let us know! I'm looking for a build guide of sorts and after looking around the other forums for this have discontinued their builds. Help me out if you can please!

 

If it could be as reliable as door windows have become, it would be a useful feature. In fact, I'd rather have that (because of reach) than the driver door power window.

 

@BenWA did a mod for the rear slider. You can search for his post. It was a 2nd Gen, but would work in a 3rd.

 

Considering you would have to stop to open it, it seems pretty necessary.

 

I have seen that I believe. However, I would like something updated and fresh. That post is like forever ago old now lol

 

Have no need for a sliding window.

 

Why don't you step up and make one for the 2016? Make it fresh and tasty like you want.

 

I hadn't realized someone had already done this. If someone could fab you the rail and stops, the rest of the parts are easily sourced.

 

I don't open mine, too or cold, A/C & windows are nuff.
But if I had a camper in the bed, that would be a game changer.

What I would really like in the whole back window goes down like the 4Runner rear window. I'd pay for that.

 

That's not going to happen! I loved that in my 06 Tundrs though!

 

2017's have power sliding rear window. Just gotta wait for one to pop up in the junkyard now

I enjoy it - if you open the sunroof and rear window it pulls a super nice breeze through the truck... just make sure you are on pavement so you don't dust it up.

I've used mine like twice. Don't really care for it since it's only the middle instead of the whole thing like the tundra or 4 runner.

 

Yes, would love to have one, then I realized, ill just have my kid open it...haha...seriously though, would like one.
