I wish i had one, like someone said earlier the breeze is nice with the sunroof and back window open. Having a double cab makes it a pain to reach, i had no problems with my 06 access cab.

Never used one until this truck but now, all the time. I tend to forget it's open often though. One of my favorite features.

I have one, do to the double cab I can see its use, the access cab was not needed. However, I would rather be able to roll my windows down with my key in the door, like VW did at one time, not sure if they still do.

I open the rear slider when I want leaves and debris to fly into the cab while I'm driving.

It makes the howling noise from my diff more bearable.

Yep, the glass piece is the most expensive part, some guy said it was $900 total at dealer cost. Kind of silly if you ask me but people spend money here like it grows on trees.

Not really an option, standard on all TRD, limited and PRO double cabs.

Thats a trim level, there are options on each trim level, it is standard on those trims, not an option and isn't an option on any other trims. If you buy an sr5 its not an option just like the tech and premium package isn't an option but is an option on the TRDs. Option means an option, its not an option, its standard on certain trims. Trims aren't options, thats like saying a double cab is an option over an access cab, options are the extras you can get on each trim, config. Like JBL, tech and premium, tow package, etc. Those listed under the options section of the sticker. The slider is listed on the standard section of the sticker on those trims.

Agree its awesome for the DCs as its just out of reach for them when driving. Now all toyota needs is power seats.

Actually a trim is an option. You have the option to buy a SR5 or a Sport, etc. You also have the option to buy a double cab or AC.
I may have misinterpreted it, but I think that is what @tacoflavoredkisses1 was trying to get at.

Can be viewed both ways. Like I said window sticker has it listed as standard equipment not under optional. Either way.

Hey all. We have one in the works compatible with a gen 3. Let me know with a list of people who want it and I can let you all know when I release it.

I would be happy with a school bus style full width back window that I could get more than my head through. The Tundra limiteds' best feature is the back window.

I like it, but think it might be why the auto tranny shifts so funky.
