I test wired everything up per the instructions above and it works.
You can also tap the illumination by tapping into the cargo light switch.

Green wire on the cargo switch is illumination +

Tan wire on the cargo switch is illumination -

You have to post it somewhere on the web. You cannot post it directly to TW. Once you have hosted it somewhere you can link that on TW.

Anyone have pics they could post of the finished product window bracket and cables?
Anyone use the Ridgeline regulator assembly?

I guess I wasn't clear in my post. I haven't seen any close ups of the cables, bracket, and how it all fits into the window channel. Benwa's uses the ridgeline regulator but the bracket sits outside the window channel.

There's also a pic with a hole drilled into the channel and a pencil slid through but I didn't see a finished product. Plenty of pics of the regulator mounting but not of the cabling into the window channel.

I searched the media gallery but didn't find what I was looking for. I'll keep searching!

During my search, before installing my power window, I think I looked at every thread and pic ever posted. I did not find the (what I think you are looking for) the definitive, illustrated, instruction, how to, narrative I was looking for. So, I used the bits and pieces that were available and crafted my power window mechanism, a little trial and error, but, mostly straight forward craftsmanship (assuming you understand the principals of power window operations). Good luck.

I think I've looked through and read all the posts too! I feel good about the regulator and the electrical pieces. I'm just looking for some ideas or options for how folks have routed the cabling into the window channel.

    Thank you!

That was a "carefully" drilled 1/4" hole into the window channel. I inserted a bicycle cable adjuster into the hole, cable through the adjuster (tension on the cables keep the adjusters in the holes, and secures the cables, the cables "MUST" be secured some way), cable ends run to the window bracket and are secured to the window bracket a number of ways, depending on your bracket. I recabled my window motor using bicycle cables, which I trimmed to length, routing them through cabin bulkhead and securing them with zip ties. I used an Impala window motor - 25 bucks on e-bay. As I mentioned earlier, pretty straight forward if you are handy, have some tools and materials laying around your garage.

I haven't installed mine yet, but from the reading and a few questions I asked I've come to the conclusion below. From what I gathered a small hole needs to be drilled on each side of the window channel that the cable ends will go through. It should be bare cable inside the channel and some sort of holding hardware attached to the outsides of the channel. The cable sleeving should also be present everywhere except for in the window channel.

Hope that helps! I'd send pictures but like I said I haven't installed mine yet. I'm sure someone who has could attach a photo though.

Sorry! Didn't mean to imply anything negative. I understand about securing the cables. Just wanted to see some pics with options. In thinking through this it seems that routing the cable into the channel could bind or put stress on the cable if the angle is too sharp. Thanks for all the help! I've ordered the bracket and will start sourcing the other parts. I'll probably try to install this one day this summer.

Just to clarify, you used all 2017 OEM parts including the glass and glass frame correct? You did not use the bracket thats being sold here on TW by kgarrett11? Trying to figure out if its possible to use 2017 motor and assembly with the bracket sold by kgarrett.

it probably is possible to use the OEM motor and assembly, but holy crap that part is expensive compared to the alternatives.

the 2017 window comes built into a bracket so no need to buy the one off the TW member. if you are using 2017 oem parts excluding the window in a 2016 or a 2nd gen then you need the bracket. you can indeed use the 2017 motor assembly/cables with the BenWa bracket, u actually need to unless you replace the rear window with a 2017 one
