One day OP might actually look under the truck and see if there is a leak.

Worst case, you have a problem that gets fixed under warranty. Still likely you have to add a little more.

I did not see any noticeable fluid leaking at least front the top of the engine. No I have yet to look under the truck and honestly feel like I shouldn't have to be crawling underneath a brand new truck to try to find the source of a possible leak. I'll leave that to the trained professionals who are paid to locate and fix these type of issues.

Regardless, it will be back and the dealer tomorrow and I hope they can get this squared away.

I understand that it's a pain to get under the truck. But not doing your own investigating is like going to the doctor and not telling him your symptoms, all the while expecting him to diagnose you and prescribe a remedy. Any information you can give the dealer will assist in identifying the issue, or at least help them focus their attention. I hope this gets resolved quickly for you.

I agree somewhat. It never hurts to point out the loss of fluid in the reservoir. it also does not hurt to point out the "wet spots" from a possible leak.
Anything you do to assist the "professionals" also helps you.

It is frustrating with new vehicles having issues. But the truck is a mechanical thing. Sometimes mechanical things break or are not perfect from the factory. Hope they get it fixed for you this time.

Chaboi. I was going to state a similar example out going to the doctors. You beat me to it.

I'd drive that piece of shit through the showroom window and claim the power steering had gone out.

    Just kidding... Don't do that.

Might be good to ask them to flush the system to ensure it's fully purged.

Have them check the rack boots, make sure it's not leaking and fluid is staying in there.

I said that earlier. That one was mine.

Driving an vehicle that you know is unsafe for the road isn't cool..... but on RAGE it is.
    RAGE, not even once.

It's actually illegal to drive a motor vehicle that you know is unsafe for highway use on the highway. You know your truck is unsafe due to a power steering leak and you are doing nothing to solve it. You should get a tow truck to tow you to the dealership to get it fixed. That's just the law in every state

At they know its not lupus

The brake booster must have been leaking, too

Power steering isn't a safety issue.
