Is there any trends or any videos on how to do the power steering flush on a 3 GEN Tacoma?

    Not that I have heard.

It was a requirement on our older cars that used Pentosin PS fluid. I believe it should have been a requirement on our 1996 Dodge Stratus that had gummed up PS fluid at one point, then later on, blew out the rack. I don't know what that Dodge used for PS fluid.

The Taco uses ATF, which generally has a lifetime interval in the ATs. I would say that PS life is easier than AT duty?

It might be something that I would consider at 200k, or something like that.

Same procedure as second gens. Just make sure you never aerate the pump

For my older vehicles I suction the reservoir dry with the oil extractor (a turkey baster works too) and refill when I do an oil change.

Yes, I am well aware that this method doesn't get all the fluid out. It does get some out though and some fresh in.

It doesn't take much time or cost much either.

    Empty reservoir with pump/suction tool
    Refill with dextron 3 ATF
    Start engine
Turn wheel fully left & right a few times
    Repeat 5-7 times

I have purchased old cars with black fluid and racks that were a bit sticky in the morning. A few suction and refills and they were good to go again, nice and smooth.

I don't flush anything but the toilet. Too much debris can go to places it shouldn't go. Suck out and refill? Yes. Flush? Negative.

Every now and again I just suck out the fluid in the reservoir then fill it back up. Noting more.

First time I did it the fluid was pretty dark.
