    Hey.
    I have a 2011 tacoma with the 2.7l engine.
I have a leek on one of the high pressure hoses that are part of the rack and pinion. As i understand, these parts are not sold by themselves as far as Toyota is concerned the whole rack and pinion has to be replaced. I am contemplating fabricating the hose myself but i would also like to put new fittings.
    Anybody ever had that issue?
Anybody have information about the fittings? Size, thread, type of flare...

Just so we re clear, i am not talking about the main pressure hose or the return. The is attached at both ends to the rack.

It has. Trouble with this one is that the leak is too close to the fitting.
I would actually like to replace both complely. they re pretty rotten.

Napa, depending on location, will make whatever type of hose you want for a reasonable price.
