power steering problems

    i have an 03 taco and idk if i need to replace the pump or the rack or whats causing the pump to whine like it does. Any past experinces?

    Well, when I used to go through swamps like you do my rack was whining all the time. After I let it sit for a couple weeks without getting wet, it's gone. That could be an easy fix...

    265/75/16 BFG A/T's, OME 881's, Wheelers 5 leaf pack, 5100's, Home Made Sliders
    check fluid level. If its low, add some ATF. If its not low, flush the system with new ATF.
