    Hi Guys,

Read a few threads about power steering fluid colors and there seems to be some confusion about different colors (clear, yellow, red). I have a couple photos attached of my reservoir at 75,000 miles with original fluid. Looks dark to me, but I am not sure what to compare it against. Should it be the same color as the transmission fluid (light red)?

    Thanks for the help! :)
    Chuck

Most Tacoma trucks manufactured before 2005 use automatic transmission fluid in the power steering reservoir.
