    Hi All!

I finally got my first Tacoma last Friday and have been basically obsessed with it ever since. I immediately hit the web and ended up here. I'm not very mechanically inclined but plan on attempting a few of the easier low tech mods.

Anyway, I have an 08 V6 SR5 and the other morning it was cold up here in New England and when I went to drive it to work I noticed the steering was super stiff. I checked the power steering fluid and it is definitely low. I wanted to top it off for now and am not sure what I can pick up at store and put in it.

I know it takes ATF (dex ii or iii), but you can't get that at the store it seems... I was thinking of topping it off with this. Would that be alright?

I have no idea what's already in there, but I assume it's from the factory because the truck only has 68k miles on it.

But that's Power Steering Fluid. The manual says to use ATF, so I assume that's what's already in there.

So would it be alright to top it off with Valvoline Max Life Dex/Merc?
