Just wondering why the new Tacoma doesn't use electronic power steering?

That wasn't something they updated on the vehicle from the 2015 (the rack is the same for 2015 and 2016). Toyota still seems to use hydraulic power steering in most of their heavier duty applications (4Runner, Tacoma, Tundra, Land Cruiser, GX, LX, etc.).
