I found a leak in my pump for my power steering. I’m having a hard time finding a video or any instructions to how to replace the pump. I’ve seen and heard lots of things of having to change out the reservoir and just changing the pump alone I’m not quite sure. Any guidance and tips are appreciated thanks!

EDIT: Just realized you have a 97, so info below likely doesn't apply to you. Rebuilding should still be cheaper though.

I had a leak where the main shaft enters the pump and ended up rebuilding as it was much, much cheaper than a full replacement.

I got Precision Power Steering Power Steering Pump Seal Kit Part #: 28401495 from O'Reilly's for $22.

It's easy once you open it up, but I used Power Steering Pump Rebuild - Part 1 of 3 (1 Hand Mechanic) #SouthpawAutoworks - YouTube to walk me through it.
