Honestly a video isn’t even needed with the instructions given on the oem kit- extremely thorough! And everything is plug and play… down to the harness clips and grommet, I don’t see any reason to go with non oem in this case (since it became available that is).

I ran it down the passenger side. I used the directions posted on this thread and it all worked perfectly.

I bought the factory Toyota kit - worth it and has Toyota quality (for around $169). Probably the best mod I’ve done to my truck. Could not stand constantly checking the tailgate to see if it was locked and not having it unlock with the rest of the doors.

followed same video as @CarlosDJackal posted

There are many instructional videos on Youtube telling you how to install a PopNLock yourself. The OEM version is the same thing. Someone earlier here also posted the official instructions from Toyota, although I also posted them in another thread on this very subject, which is well covered on TW. But that being said, I am the only one I have seen, who actually shows an alternative to the most common installation, which is, that most people and the official instructions from Toyota, show it connecting so that when the driver door is unlocked, it also unlocks the tailgate lock. The other version that is also well covered on TW and in youtube videos, is to install it on the right side of the vehicle, so that the tailgate only unlocks when you unlock all 4 doors or your truck. NOW, in my version, which I documented in a youtube video which I will share below, I show another alternative for those who, like me, do NOT have to have their dang tailgate unlocked and locked every time they get into the truck! PopNLock actually offers a rocker-type switch for installation on the dash, or wherever, so that the tailgate is ONLY locked/unlocked when one presses the rocker switch! Totally Cool! Although it was designed for those who have trucks that do not have automatic door unlocking, it works for those like me, who only want to unlock their tailgate when they need it unlocked. Here is the video:

I ordered and received the OEM from OEM Part Source. But the harness included is labeled "PK3B6-34JB0 Tundra Short Bed Body Harness". Did they send me the wrong one? Or is this just as compatible?

Post 4 has the instructions. Not sure about compatibility.

    Edit:
It looks like each bag you have has a different part number, like a component or sub assy part number. Is there a higher level part number listed on the receipt or a main bag or box?

Best creature comfort feature ever. Especially if you have a topper and get an autolock on that. The onlydownside I have encountered is if its heavily raining and then freezes the lock may not work so you'll have to use the key, this happened more on my topper lock than the tailgate lock.

Does yours have an outer box with a part number like this?

Looks like -35JBO on this one. I'm leaning towards that's the wrong one you have.

Well, I contacted them and they validated that this is the correct kit based on my Taco's VIN. Here we go!!

I just installed the factory tailgate power lock kit on my 2019 Tacoma Access Cab. Got the kit from the dealer for $140, and the dealer emailed me the current instructions (Issue F 8/14/20). There have been a few minor revisions from earlier versions of instructions, mostly clarifications, so if you get a kit from a Toyota source, ask for the current instructions. As others have posted, installation is pretty straightforward. However if you follow the factory instructions, they have you cable-tie the power connector from the tailgate lock to a cable clip under the bed. This would prevent easy removal of the tailgate - you'd have to cut the cable tie. So I routed mine a little differently so that like the camera cable, the lock cable is not attached to the bed between the tailgate and the connector. The actuator does give some increased resistance to manual operation of the lock with the key, but since I won't be doing that very often any more it's not a problem.

Here are the Issue F 8/14/20 instructions for the Tacoma power tailgate lock, PK3B6-35JSO. Minor changes from previous issues.
