Removing my Driver's seat I found this unused black & white plug. When the truck is on I can measure 14v though it. Really would like to use it to power a USB plug but I don't know what it is.

Anybody identify it? Is it on a separate fuse?

While I got you here. What's this bundle?

That wire bundle looks like a ground splice pack, generally White/Black wires are grounds on Toyota vehicles.
What are the wire colors on the connector in question?

The wires are blue w/red stripe and white w/black stripe. I confirmed the white w/black is a ground.

    You have electric adjustable seat?

No electric seats, looks to be about a 20 gauge wire.

That's correct! I must have forgot to hook it up last time I had the seat out.

    Thanks.

I would not suggest tapping that power for USB ports, while you have the seat out you can fish some wire under the carpet and tie into a switched +12V from the fuse box somewhere if that's the goal.

It is, or was, I've got the seats and carpet pulled and thought it would be great to do while there. Unfortunately I gotta couple of projects going and may not have time to chase down a power source. I'm about halfway through adding Kilmat, insulation, 120v outlet, 400w anytime, and a solar panel. I'd like to leave on a trip tomorrow.....:bananadead:

    Thanks for your help.
