Hey all, so my truck's power windows are finally starting to go out. I dismantled one of the motor assemblies and the spur gear has separated between the top, keyed area, and the teeth. I really want to stay with oem... what are my options? Can I rebuild it? I shouldn't have used auto when rolling it down...

Look online to see if there is someone local who specializes in repairing power windows.

Way back when I was poor college student,
I was experiencing the same on my 200sx
I took apart electric motor and cleaned
(Now I just had rags healthy lungs to blow….no compressed air)
Some how my idiot ass fixed the problem

That’s probably all it needs is blown out with compressed air.

    Great idea. Thanks!
