power window motor

    my back window, driver side is stuck down and the motor/regulator will not raise. is there a way to raise the window.

    Check for fuses blown first... did the window gradually start giving you issues or just fail all at once?

    Haven't done it on these trucks, but usually you can pull the door panel off... access the power window motor, loosen one screw/bolt on the motor mount and manually push the window up. Then lock it back in place by putting the screw/bolt back in. Loosening the bolts allows the motor gear to skip teeth so that you can put it up.

    EDIT: you just got paid, why not go out and buy another motor :) By the time you pull off the panel and remove a screw, you might as well replace it.

    Try using both the back power window button and the Driver side button at the same time. This has worked in mine but I am still diagnosing what the real issue is. I believe it is electrical and not the motor itself.
