Only spitballing this idea because I found a 2001 4-cyl AT donor truck with power windows and locks. If I take the panels and everything from the inside of the donor doors what will I be missing to be able to use them on my ‘04 with manual windows and locks? It can’t be plug-and-play easy can it?

I can't answer for sure, but I did see on my 95 that a lot of the wiring was missing for cruise control,, but after further looking it seems like the "idiots" in charge decided it was easier to just wire pretty much the newer ones with all the connections,, so I'd say your 04 would stand a good chance in at least all the wiring being in place, don't know about the computer side of it though.
    Worth a look.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Is it possible to test things before pulling everything out ?

Wires break ,motors fail plastic clips on the door linkage love to break.

Toyota might have changed wire colors or connectors between the 2 different years .

look for any relays you might need.

I would not touch this without the EWD for at least your truck.

    good luck!!
