Aye aye aye.... I was figuring it was a cheap piece! Craigslist and junk yards here I come!

The motors aren't much cheaper either...

With that price I realize it now. Haha.

I found an ad on my local craigslist. I'm going to try and see if he has a passenger side door lock actuator.

    Thanks for the help!

I checked with Amazon and the door actuator is oem sold by Toyota and its like 225 . not after market like the widow motor. so your just going to have to find after market one Aaron . you will save 60 % compared to OEM by toyota

One thing to check, that takes 5 minutes, is the contacts on the master switch assembly.

Chances are it's the motor, so it seems by the video, but it may be that your contact on the driver's side "up" side is really gunked up.

5 minutes and $5 for electrical contact cleaner might solve it.

This is what mine looked like which lead to sporadic and eventually almost impossible rolling up of my driver's side window:

Looks like I'm tearing apart my doors soon then. Anything I have to worry about with that cleaner?

When I installed my sound system , taking off the door panels is pretty easy just be careful of the clips , use a flat head screw driver and place it as close to the clips as possible and pop it off . Nothing to worry about it wont harm anything , just spray the contacts until they look clean .

Nope. Safe for all electronics and contacts. I used Q-tips to clean everything up as well.

When you take the master switch assembly out, just make note of the placement/alignment of those rocker contacts etc.

The driver's side contacts are those long copper pieces on either side of that larger silver piece. They get pushed together when you activate the switch. Up is on one side, down is on the other.

It's super easy and explanatory once you get into it.

Alright. Finally got to open my door panel. Cleaned up the connector and it works better. But still not fully.

It rolls down well, and rolls up from all the way down, but it needs some time being all the way down. I'm going to try cleaning up the track and gear.
