Thats pretty sweet. If you want a really cheep solution, my buddy with his f350 4door uses one of those trash picker-upers to reach back and open his rear window.

In my D-cab if I have the rear side windows down the turbulences created when you go over about 25mph are to harsh to drive with. But cracking the passenger window helps a bunch. I will try cracking the rear slider to see what that does. If it helps then a power rear slider would be real nice.

It looks to me like the $731 window is for first-gens only?

I thought about getting one. My Insurance covers all my glass, and if my rear window breaks, they will replace it with a powered unit, I just pay the difference in price.

Here's a place in Georgia that is selling Gen 2 CR Laurence power sliders for $421.00 US, plus you'd have to buy installation supplies and installation:

    http://www.truckininstyle.com/latemodelsliders.htm

Also saw the excellent thread on 'home made' power slider...liked it as if the CR Laurence motor crapped out, wondering how difficult replacement parts would be to get? (particularly in Canada)

Personally, like keeping things as simple as possible, the only window where it makes sense to have it powered is the rear window.

    There is one available already!

    http://www.crlaurence.com/crlapps/s...5&History=30587:21770:1380:1407&ModelID=17695

I've been told if we can get 10+ we can get them in the $450 shipped neighborhood. Maybe cheaper.....
